How to Submit an IT Support Request

If you need help from the IT team, please use the IT Support Request Form. This helps us capture the correct information upfront so we can assist you faster and reduce unnecessary back-and-forth messages.

When to Use the IT Support Request Form

Please use the form for any IT-related issue or request, including:

Login & Passwords Password resets, login problems, account access, or password change requests.
Email & Outlook Outlook errors, email sending issues, mailbox access, or email setup problems.
Software Support Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Microsoft 365, VPN, or other work software issues.
Hardware Problems Laptop, screen, mouse, keyboard, headset, printer, or scanner problems.
Network & Internet Internet problems, Wi-Fi issues, connection drops, or network access concerns.
Security Issues Phishing emails, suspicious links, unusual activity, or security concerns.

How to Submit a Request

Go to the IT Support Request Form and complete the required fields.

Enter your details

Add your full name and work email address. Please use your company email address so the IT team can identify and respond to your request correctly.

Select the issue type

Choose the category that best matches your issue. The form may then ask you to select a more specific issue type.

Add a clear description

Explain what happened, what you were trying to do, any error messages you saw, when the issue started, and whether it affects only you or other users as well.

Attach screenshots if possible

Screenshots are very helpful, especially for error messages, Outlook problems, website issues, phishing emails, or software problems.

Submit the request

Click Submit Request. Your ticket will be logged and your email app should open with the request details already filled in.

What to Include in the Description

The more detail you provide, the easier it is for IT to resolve the issue quickly.

  • What you were trying to do
  • What went wrong
  • Any error messages you saw
  • When the issue started
  • Whether it affects only you or other users as well
  • Which device, app, or system you were using

How to Add a Screenshot

Screenshots help IT understand the issue much faster. You can upload images directly into the form or paste a screenshot from your clipboard.

Windows screenshot shortcut: Press Windows + Shift + S, select the area you want to capture, then paste it into the form using Ctrl + V.

While completing the form, you may see suggested Help Centre articles based on the issue you are typing.

Please review these articles before submitting your request. Some common issues can be resolved immediately by following the steps in the article.

If the article does not solve the issue, continue submitting the request.

After You Click Submit

Once you click Submit Request, your ticket will be logged on the IT Support system and a ticket reference number will be shown on the screen.

Your email app should then open with the request details already filled in. Please press Send in your email app to send the request to IT.

If your email app does not open automatically, click the Open Email to IT button shown on the screen, then press Send in your email app.

Please Avoid Duplicate Requests

Once your request has been logged, the IT team will review it and respond as soon as possible.

Please avoid submitting the same issue multiple times or sending repeated follow-up emails, as this can slow down the support queue.

  • Use your work email address.
  • Choose the correct issue category.
  • Provide a clear description.
  • Include screenshots where possible.
  • Mention any error messages.
